CUET PG Economics 2027: Month-by-Month Plan If You Start in October
You did not start CUET PG Economics prep in the summer. Good news: starting in October still works — if you start properly. The exam is expected around March 2027, which gives you roughly five months: enough for two full passes over the COQP10 syllabus with consistent daily hours.
Why an October start still works
Honest framing first: October is later than ideal. But with 2.5–3 focused hours a day, five months comfortably covers Micro and Macro deeply, the quantitative units honestly, and a full mock cycle. Late starters fail not because of the calendar but because they skip mocks — this plan doesn't.
The month-by-month map
October: Microeconomics and Macroeconomics — the two heaviest-weight COQP10 units — six days a week. Finish October knowing consumer/producer theory, market structures, national income, IS-LM and AD-AS cold.
November: Mathematical Methods and Statistical Methods. Start weekly timed PYQ sessions this month.
December: Indian Economy plus any remaining units. Take your first full-length mock in December — early enough to learn from it.
January: Weekly full-length mocks plus full PYQ papers solved under time. Maintain the error log ruthlessly.
February–March: Revision marathons, alternate-day mocks, and a deliberate taper in the final week before the exam.
COQP10 unit priority order
Work through the paper in this order — it follows PYQ weightage:
- Microeconomics
- Macroeconomics
- Statistics
- Mathematics
- Indian Economy
Verify against the latest official COQP10 syllabus when you begin.
Weekly PYQ routine that compounds
Two timed PYQ sessions every week from November. A full paper every two weeks from December. Every mistake goes into an error log and gets re-solved within 48 hours — that re-solve step is where the marks are.
Mock-test cadence from December
Ten full-length mocks is the minimum bar for a March exam. The CUET PG Economics course includes 10 full mocks with video solutions, PYQs organised by difficulty, and complete notes. Add weekly topic tests, and review your performance every Sunday like a match-tape session.
