Eligibility Criteria:

1. M.A. Economics (with specialization in World Economy)
– Program Code: COQP10
 
Eligibility:
 
– A Bachelor’s degree with 50% marks in aggregate.
 
– The following subjects are eligible:
 
– Economics (Honours) with Mathematics as a subsidiary subject.
 
– Mathematics (Honours) with Economics as a subsidiary subject.
 
– Statistics (Honours) with Economics and Mathematics as subsidiary subjects.
 
– Alternatively, one of the following degrees or their equivalents:
 
– B.A./B.Sc. with Economics as a major or minor subject.
 
– B.Stat.
 
– B.Sc. (Physics and Mathematics).
 
– B.Tech/B.E (Bachelor of Engineering) with at least 60% aggregate marks.
 
– Applicants must have studied Mathematics at the 10+2 and undergraduate levels.
 
– Knowledge of economic theory (including Microeconomics and Macroeconomics) taught at the undergraduate level is expected.
 
– All OBC category (non-creamy layer) candidates are eligible for a 10% relaxation in the percentage of marks in the qualifying examination compared to the open category.
 
– SC/ST and Person with Disability (PWD) candidates who have passed the qualifying examination, irrespective of their percentage of marks, are eligible to appear in the Entrance Examination.
