– A minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate is necessary in the undergraduate degree. This includes all subjects studied at the B.A./B.Sc. level, excluding subjects where only pass marks are required and which do not contribute to the overall marks in the final degree mark sheet.
 
3. Understanding of Mathematics and Statistics:
– The M.A. Economics program requires candidates to have a substantial knowledge of Mathematics and Statistics. This indicates that applicants should have a solid foundation and understanding of these subjects to successfully navigate the coursework.
 
In simpler terms, to be eligible for this M.A. Economics program, you need to have completed a relevant undergraduate degree with a minimum of 50% marks overall. Additionally, you must have a good understanding of Mathematics and Statistics, as these subjects are integral to the curriculum. The 50% mark requirement considers all subjects except those where only passing marks are needed and do not contribute to the overall grade.
