** Application Procedure**

– From September 5, 2023, to October 13, 2023, candidates can apply for JAM 2024 exclusively through the JAM Online Application Processing System (JOAPS). Visit [https://jam.iitm.ac.in](https://jam.iitm.ac.in) and click on the “Candidate Portal” button to access JOAPS.

– Register on JOAPS by providing essential details like your name, valid e-mail address, active mobile number, and a secure password. Once registered, your Enrolment ID and OTP will be sent to your e-mail and mobile.

– Use your Enrolment ID or e-mail along with the password to submit your application. Keep your Enrolment ID and password confidential for future use.

**JOAPS Portal**

The JOAPS portal serves as your gateway to the JAM 2024 Administration. Through JOAPS, you can:

– Apply for the examination online.

– Upload your photograph, signature, and relevant documents.

– Pay the application fee using various electronic payment modes.

– Track your application status, from submission to admit card availability.

**Application Fees**

Ensure a smooth application process by understanding the application fee structure:

– Female / SC / ST / PwD*: ₹ 900 (One Test Paper) | ₹ 1250 (Two Test Papers)

– All Others: ₹ 1800 (One Test Paper) | ₹ 2500 (Two Test Papers)

*PwD: Person with benchmark Disability

**Mark Your Calendar: Test Schedule**

The JAM 2024 Online Examination will be held on February 11, 2024 (Sunday) in two sessions as a Computer Based Test (CBT). Here’s the schedule for each session:

– Forenoon (FN) Session: Chemistry (CY), Geology (GG), Mathematics (MA)

– Afternoon (AN) Session: Biotechnology (BT), Economics (EN), Mathematical Statistics (MS), Physics (PH)

IIT JAM 2023 Results are Out!

The results of the IIT JAM 2023 Results MSc (IIT JAM) 2023 have been published on the official website. The exam was held on February 12, 2023, and the results were announced on March 21, 2023.

IIT JAM is a national-level examination for students interested in pursuing a Master of Science (MSc) degree at one of the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) or the Indian Institute of Science (IISc). The exam is given by one of the IITs on a rotating basis, and this year it was given by IIT Guwahati.

Candidates who pass the examination will be eligible for admission to the IITs and IISc’s MSc programmes in a variety of disciplines (including Economics). The admissions process will begin after the IIT JAM 2023 cutoff, which will be announced soon.

Candidates must meet the cutoff marks set by the respective institutions in order to be admitted. Following the release of the cutoff marks, candidates must apply for admission to the institute of their choice and attend the counselling process.
