If you possess certifications from institutions like The Institution of Engineers (India), The Institution of Civil Engineers, The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers, or others mentioned in the list, ensure that these examinations are approved by MoE/AICTE/UGC/UPSC as equivalent to B.E./B.Tech./B.Arch./B.Planning degrees.

International Candidates’ Eligibility:

For candidates who obtained or are pursuing their qualifying degree from countries other than India, eligibility criteria remain consistent. You should be in your 3rd year or higher or must have completed a Bachelor’s degree. And or at least three years in Engineering, Technology, Science, Architecture, or Humanities.

Any candidate fulfilling the above-mentioned criteria is eligible to appear for GATE 2024.

• Candidates pursuing any higher degree or in possession of a degree higher than that mentioned in the table below, will be allowed to appear for GATE 2024.
• Candidates with B.Sc./B.A./B.Com. degrees (3-year program) desirous of seeking admission to Masters programs in IITs and IISc may refer to JAM 2024.
