Out of these seats, 60% are only for candidates (Securing 6.5 CGPA in Science or 5.5 CGPA in Humanities) from Presidency University. The rest of the seats will be filled in from the merit list based on the marks obtained in the Admission Test
- Course Fees: The total tuition fee for the M.Sc. in Applied Economics at Presidency University is INR 3,840. There is also a hostel fee of INR 5,660. Additionally, some students may have to pay a one-time fee, depending on the specific course.
Eligibilty
- Mathematics Requirement: No prior knowledge of Mathematics is required for the MSc programme.
- Qualifying Degree: B.A. (Hons)/B.Sc. (Hons) degree 60% in Economics (Honours) for General Category and the students of Presidency University and the students belonging to the SC/ST/OBCA/OBCB categories having B.A. (Hons)/B.Sc. (Hons) Degree are eligible to apply.
- Provisional Admission: Provisional admission is given to the candidates on the basis of production of their mark sheets/grade cards of all previous semester/annual examinations at their Bachelor’s level. However, they must submit their final mark sheet within 3 weeks from the date of their provisional admission, demonstrating that they fulfill the minimum conditions of eligibility failing which their admission will stand canceled.
