 Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the DTU MA Economics Admissions , candidates must meet the following criteria:

1. CUET-PG 2024: Candidates must have appeared in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET)-PG 2024 conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
2. Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognized university.

   – SC/ST/PWD candidates are eligible for a 5% relaxation in the minimum marks criterion.

3. CGPA Conversion: If the conversion formula is not provided by the concerned university/institution, the equivalent percentage will be computed as per DTU Guidelines: Percentage of Marks = 10 x CGPA.
4. Final Year Students: Candidates in the final year of graduation are also eligible to apply, provided they submit proof of eligibility by a date decided by the Admission Committee.
5. No Age Limit: There is no age limit for applying to the program.

 Admission Criteria

Admission to the MA Economics program will be based on the score obtained in any one of the following subjects in the CUET-PG 2024 exam:

– Economics

– Statistics

– Mathematics

Tie-Breaking Criteria:

1. Date of Birth: The elder candidate will be given preference.
2. Marks/CGPA: If the date of birth is the same, the merit will be determined based on marks/CGPA obtained in the qualifying degree.
