Exam Paper Pattern

The entrance exam is divided into two parts: Part-A and Part-B.

 

Part-A (Compulsory)

Total Marks: 60

Duration: 120 minutes (2 hours)

Topics and Questions:

Basic Mathematics & Statistics: 30 questions

Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning: 15 questions

Language & Reading Comprehension: 15 questions

Total Questions: 60

Part-B (Choose between two streams)

Mathematics/Statistics Stream

 

Total Marks: 40

Topics and Questions:

Advanced Mathematics: 20 questions

Advanced Statistics: 20 questions

Total Questions: 40

 

Economics Stream

Total Marks: 40

Topics and Questions:

Microeconomics: 10 questions

Macroeconomics: 10 questions

Indian Economy & Related Topics: 20 questions

Total Questions: 40

 

Additional Notes

All questions are multiple-choice with four options.

Each correct answer awards one mark.

The exam will be conducted online.

All tests will be in English.

The Part-B questions are at the undergraduate level for Economics and Mathematics/Statistics streams.

Tips and Tricks for Success

  • Understand the Exam Structure: Familiarize yourself with the pattern and types of questions in both parts of the exam.

 

  • Focus on Basics:Ensure a solid understanding of basic mathematics and statistics. Practice simple problems daily to enhance your skills.
