Eligibility Criteria for MA in Economics IIFT

Eligibility for admission to the MA (Economics – Specialization in Trade & Finance) Programme at IIFT includes:

A bachelor’s degree in any discipline.

A minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC, ST, and PWD candidates).

Mathematics studied at the higher secondary or higher level.

No age limit.

Candidates in their final year of graduation are also eligible to apply.

The program has 200 seats in total, with 100 seats available at each of the Delhi and Kolkata campuses.

Fees for MA in Economics IIFT

The annual tuition fee for the MA (Economics – Specialization in Trade & Finance) program is 1.75 lakh for General/OBC category students. Students from SC, ST, and PWD categories receive a 50% concession on the tuition fee.

IIFT Entrance Exam Syllabus

The syllabus for the entrance exam is based on topics such as Basic Mathematics and Statistics, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, International Economics, Public Finance, and more. The syllabus is designed to be at the undergraduate level of Economics programmes.

IIFT MA Economics Entrance Paper Pattern

The entrance exam for the MA (Economics – Specialization in Trade & Finance) programme at IIFT consists of an Objective Aptitude Test with a maximum duration of 120 minutes.
