GATE 2024 Test Papers:

Marking Scheme and Negative Marking:

The marking scheme of GATE 2024 is as follows:

MCQs carry 1 mark or 2 marks

For a wrong answer in a 1-mark MCQ, 1/3 mark is deducted

For a wrong answer in a 2-mark MCQ, 2/3 mark is deducted

No negative marking for wrong answers in MSQ or NAT questions

No partial marking in MSQ questions

Economics Syllabus:

For aspiring economists, the Economics syllabus constitutes a significant portion of the GATE 2024 examination. Marks Distribution for Economics Paper is 15 marks for General Aptitude, 25 marks for Reasoning and Comprehension and 60 marks for Economics. Examination Mode and Duration:

GATE 2024 will be conducted in English as a Computer Based Test (CBT) at select centres in select cities. The duration of the examination is 3 hours.
